General
What is Bio€quity Europe?
Bio€quity Europe is the premier annual gathering of the corporate and investment communities for the global life sciences industry. Co-organized by BioCentury and EBD Group, it brings together biotech CEOs, venture capitalists, private equity investors, pharma BD&L leaders and financial dealmakers to network, partner and debate the critical issues shaping the biotech industry.
Now in its 26th edition, Bio€quity Europe is the longest-running and most senior-level biotech investor conference in Europe. No biotech event attracts a higher concentration of investors. Although anchored in Europe, Bio€quity Europe is a truly global event, with investors and dealmakers attending from Europe, the United States and Asia. Every European biotech that aspires to globalize — whether by attracting U.S. investors for a NASDAQ IPO, licensing assets to global pharma, or commercializing in the U.S., the world's largest pharma market — will find the right people in the room at Bio€quity Europe.
Past Faculty and delegates have included leaders from Sofinnova Partners, Forbion, Jeito Capital, Gilde Healthcare, EQT Life Sciences, Kurma Partners, Andera Partners, RA Capital, OrbiMed, Novo Holdings, LSP, BioMedPartners, MSD, Bayer, Novartis, Roche, Sanofi, Johnson & Johnson, MoonLake Immunotherapeutics, Candel Therapeutics and many more.
When and where is Bio€quity Europe 2026?
The 26th Bio€quity Europe takes place May 4–6, 2026, at the Prague Congress Centre (5. května 1640/65, Nusle, 140 00 Praha 4, Czech Republic). Digital partnering days follow on May 12–13, 2026.
Why Prague?
This is the first time Bio€quity Europe travels to Central and Eastern Europe. The region represents a significant and growing opportunity for the global biotech industry, and Prague is at the center of it.
For biotech CEOs, board members and investors attending Bio€quity, Prague offers a front-row seat to learn how to accelerate R&D via clinical trials and manufacturing in Central and Eastern Europe — directly aligned with this year's conference theme on the need for speed. The region is also home to exceptional science with translational potential. Some of the early scientific foundations of Gilead, for example, came from Czech research. Bio€quity Europe in Prague will explore how to take great science from the region and translate it into scalable, venture-backed companies.
Each year Bio€quity Europe rotates to a new European city to spotlight regional innovation ecosystems, with recent editions held in Bruges, San Sebastián, Dublin and Milan.
What is this year's theme?
This year's theme is The Need for Speed: How Europe Can Compete in the New Era. Globally, innovators are finding the need for speed as the driver for investment, partnering and success: speed to the clinic, speed to early human data, and speed to de-risk assets. The question for European biotechs is what strategy they should pursue to compete in this arena, facing new momentum from Asia and an unpredictable landscape in the U.S.
As always, the science in Europe is there. There are more experienced operators than ever before. And after four long years, investor sentiment, finally, is turning. What's needed now is speed.
Who organizes Bio€quity Europe?
Bio€quity Europe is co-organized by BioCentury and EBD Group (an Informa Connect business). BioCentury has provided essential business intelligence to biopharma executives and investors for 30+ years, and EBD Group operates the partneringONE® platform used for one-to-one meeting scheduling at the event. McKinsey & Company serves as Insights Partner.
Does Bio€quity Europe sell out?
Yes. Bio€quity Europe sells out every year. Attendance is capped at 1,200 delegates to ensure a high-quality experience for networking, partnering and debate among peers. We strongly encourage early registration to secure your place.
Who Should Attend
Who should attend Bio€quity Europe?
Bio€quity Europe is a senior-level event designed for decision-makers across the biopharma investment and corporate ecosystem:
- Biotech C-suite: CEOs, CFOs and CBOs of growth-stage biotechnology companies
- Investors: Venture capitalists, private equity investors and corporate venture arms from Europe, the U.S. and Asia
- Pharma BD&L leaders: Business development and licensing executives from global pharmaceutical companies

No biotech event attracts a higher concentration of investors. If you are a European biotech looking to attract global capital, or a U.S. or Asia investor looking to source innovation from Europe, Bio€quity Europe is where the deals get started.
Who will I meet?
Bio€quity Europe attracts 1,000+ executives and investors from over 30 countries. Although anchored in Europe, the event is truly global, with leading biotech investors attending from the U.S. and Asia alongside Europe's most active VCs and pharma BD&L executives.
Delegates and Faculty at recent Bio€quity Europe events have included leaders from Sofinnova Partners, Forbion, Jeito Capital, Gilde Healthcare, EQT Life Sciences, Kurma Partners, Andera Partners, RA Capital, OrbiMed, Novo Holdings, LSP, BioMedPartners, MSD, Bayer, Novartis, Roche, Sanofi, Johnson & Johnson, MoonLake Immunotherapeutics, Candel Therapeutics, Idorsia and many more.
What will I learn?
This year's program explores how European biotech can accelerate to compete and lead in today's world. Expect strategic panels and debates on:
- How Europe can shorten the path from discovery to the clinic — practical strategies to accelerate development timelines, rapidly reach first-in-human data and de-risk assets to attract investors and pharma
- Where Europe can win as global competition intensifies — a clear-eyed view of how European biotechs can differentiate themselves on the global stage amid rising momentum from Asia and policy uncertainty in the U.S.
- Why Central and Eastern Europe matter now — insights into emerging opportunities, talent pools, cost and operational efficiencies, and partnerships from life sciences leaders in the region
You will also receive an exclusive conference report from Insights Partner McKinsey & Company on European biotech trends, and hear directly from top biotech VCs including partners from Sofinnova, Forbion, Jeito Capital, EQT, Gilde and many more who take the stage as Faculty.

Your profile will also be visible on partneringONE plus, allowing you to receive messages from potential partners year-round.
Are there in-person and virtual partnering days?
Yes. In-person partnering meetings take place during the conference in Prague, May 4–6, 2026. Following the in-person event, two days of digital partnering are available on May 12–13, 2026, allowing you to continue scheduling virtual one-to-one meetings with registered delegates.

How do I apply to become a Presenting Company?
Submit a nomination via the Presenting Company Self-Nomination Form. You can also be nominated by a sponsor, Faculty member or other stakeholder.
